About Us

Who We Are

SEDS-KU is is a chapter of SEDS Nepal, a student-led organization that brings together space enthusiasts and provides a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas related to space. SEDS-KU is the SEDS chapter in Kathmandu University and was initiated on September 6th, 2020. SEDS-KU consists diverse group of individuals from various disciplines at Kathmandu University who share a common passion for Space science and technology.
SEDS-KU conducts various projects and research related to space science and technology. These projects can range from designing and building CubeSats to conducting experiments on high-altitude balloons to studying atmospheric phenomena. The members also participate in international space-related competitions, host events and workshops to promote education and interest in space science and technology.

Rajendra Adhikari PhD.

Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Kathmandu University. He has a deep understanding of the scientific principles and concepts related to space and is well-versed in the latest developments in the field.

Kamal Chapagain PhD.

Assistant Professor

As an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kathmandu University, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of electrical and electronics engineering and space science and technology.
